International Relations Office under New Management
Professor Pedro Rodrigues Curi Hallal, the new UFPel president who took over last January 11, has appointed Professor Maximiliano Cenci as the new chairperson of the International Relations Office (CRInter).
Professor Cenci has been working in the Graduate Program in Dentistry at UFPel since 2008, which he coordinated from 2012 to 2015, and had already been cooperating to CRInter in the internationalization issues since 2013.
As the coordinator of the Graduate Program in Dentistry, he was co-responsible for the institutionalization of several cooperation agreements and partnerships between UFPel and foreign universities that resulted in multiple opportunities for academic mobility and generated qualified academic works. During his doctoral studies, he did his international PhD internship at the Academic Center for Dentistry Amsterdam (Netherlands). Since 2010 he has been an assistant researcher at Radboud University of Nijmegen (Netherlands), where he co-supervised doctoral dissertations of Brazilian and Dutch students.
As the new chairperson at CRInter, the professor is planning, along with the office staff and the academic community, to elaborate the Internationalization Plan of UFPel to organize and expand the internationalization actions of the University.
