Last Monday (March 15), the Graduate Program in Biochemistry and Bioprospecting and the Graduate Program in Chemistry from UFPel promoted a lecture given by Jörg Feldmann, from the University of Aberdeen. The Scottish professor talked about “Rice, a source of arsenic and mercury: The Need for Speciation Analysis.”
UFPel continues its efforts to increasingly improve campus internationalization. The latest example is the launch of UFPel’s new international and trilingual website. The site is available in English, the language most widely used in the world of science, and in Spanish, extending the university’s reach to bordering and nearby countries. The online information includes facts about both undergraduate and graduate courses, as well as various programs and projects related to teaching, research, and extension developed by the university.
